Spec Clutches - xA & xB
Product Description
Stage 1: For bolt on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines. Stock-like drivability and very good wear characteristics. Kit includes: High clamp pressure plate, steel-backed woven organic disk, bearings and tool.
Stage 2: For all mild to moderately modified n/a and power adder engines. Stock-like daily drivability and EXCELLENT wear characteristics. Kit includes: High clamp pressure plate, segmented chatter-free Kevlar disc, bearings and tool.
Stage 3: For heavily modified street and race engines. Offers sufficient daily drivability with a comfortable pedal feel and quick engagement. Offers good wear characteristics under low and high stress usage. Kit includes: High-clamp pressure plate, 3-piece disc with carbon or ceramic material, bearings and a tool. ULTIMATE STREET/STRIP CLUTCH! Sharp but smooth engagement with light pedal.
Stage 4: For heavily modified engines or engines of any modification level being used in drag, drift, or road race driving environments, where an instantaneous engagement and light weight are beneficial. Not street-friendly due to harsh engagement. Kit includes: High-clamp pressure plate, 2-piece rigid disc, bearings and a tool. Available in 3 or 6 wing design for serious road racing and drag racing.
Stage 5: For extremely modified drag race and pulling engines, or applications that call for a 'slipper' clutch. These clutches are best ordered as custom configured and should be ordered after providing specific information about the car and it's purpose to a SPEC technical assistant (tech line: 205-491-8581).
